January 12, 2017 – Colombo & Colombo, P.C. is pleased to announce that Nicholas J. Ranke has joined the firm as an associate attorney in the firm’s Litigation and Automotive Dealership groups.
Nicholas’ experience includes serving as the lead attorney on real estate, family law, personal injury, No-Fault and criminal law cases. His litigation experience also includes premises liability, bodily injury and arson fraud cases. He has worked as the lead legal liaison between the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality and the Governor’s Office, and as an intern he conducted research and drafted bench memoranda and advisory opinions for the Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court, the Hon. Judge Marilyn Kelly, and the Hon. Judge Marianne O. Battani of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.
Nicholas graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Literature, Science and the Arts. He earned a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the Wayne State University Law School, where he was awarded a full-tuition scholarship for high academic achievement. An active bicyclist and runner, Nicholas is training for an upcoming Ironman 70.3 event.
